Created in partnership with the Government of Canada and Canadian Geographic, the public launch of LTE’s new travelling photographic display was held March 1 at Carleton University. This exhibit shares Canadian stories…some hopeful, some disheartening, all true – and all happening right now. Livestream Panel Discussion 2018

Generation Energy Youth Summit and Forum

October 10-12, 2017
In collaboration with Student Energy and The Public Policy Forum, LTE hosted a youth summit at the Manitoba Museum in Winnipeg where youth gathered to share their own ideas as well as ideas brought from their respective communities, about Canada's energy future. LTE also facilitated a one hour livestream event where Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr joined youth in a panel discussion. Watch the live stream and read the conversation around it here.

On Thin Ice Expedition

December 14-16, 2016
LTE and Will Gadd descended into Alberta’s Athabasca Glacier to explore the effects of climate change on the glacier. The team was joined by Martin Sharp, a glaciologist from the University of Alberta who helped explain the impacts that climate change has had, and will have, on the area in general and the ice fields in particular.
